NUMBER 45 TYPEFACE

The Number 45 typeface is inspired by the Citigroup Center in New York City, located on 53rd Street between Lexington and Third Avenues in Midtown Manhattan. The building's distinctive 45-degree angled top served as the foundation for developing this architectural-inspired typeface. I began by outlining the building and then used squares to subtract the positive space, ensuring the letterforms retain the building’s signature flat-45-flat top as much as possible.
