War

I made an art piece to express the helplessness of civilians in the war. The black acrylic paint scattered on the canvas and crossed like lightning represents the cruelness and intensity of the war. In the painting, I put a sculpture of a figure holding a pillar tightly. It represents the vulnerability of civilians in the war and their fear of armed violence. Placing the statue with the paint on the canvas, it looks like the figure is bleeding. The painting not only complains about the violence and coldness of the war but also expresses the pain and despair of the victims.
