Melt

To reflect the issue of ice melting due to rising temperatures, I created a series of paintings. Inspired by the concept of Yin & Yang, I used the interaction of black and white to symbolize the melting process. The interplay of negative and positive space demonstrates the causality between human behavior and global warming. The creation process involved letting the paint flow across the canvas, blending together to form the composition. In this series, the interaction between white and black gradually intensifies, representing the process of glacier melting. As the melting progresses, it evolves into an image of flames, symbolizing the burning of the earth
