Citigroup Center Arcade

To celebrate the redesign and anniversary of the iconic Citicorp Building in NYC, my class was challenged to design an object from the 1970s—the decade in which the building was constructed—that incorporates its signature 45-degree angle. Inspired by the Pong Arcade Machine, which was built in 1972, I merged its form with the distinctive skyline of the Citicorp Center, emphasizing its iconic top. The piece, scaled at 25x60 inches, is intended to be part of a permanent exhibition in the newly redesigned Citicorp Building.
